Summary: Flip grid is a social learning platform where educators pose stimulating questions, entrance or exit cards, open-ended questions, mini-presentations, assignments, etc. and students respond in a video format. Educators create ‘grids’ which act as the learning place for your classroom. Within the grid, they pose ‘topics,’ that are the discussion starters and students can respond to each other’s responses. 
Analysis: Flip grid is extremely user-friendly for both the educator and the student. As the teacher, you can provide feedback either through a video or text. Flip Grid contains a “disco library” with over 10,000 Flip Grid topics ready to be added to your grids. The feature “co-pilot” allows educators to co-manage a grid.
Current:Flip Grid is a great example of using technology as an educational tool and fosters the Deep Learning Competencies. It is a great opportunity for students to be innovative in their responses and encourages deeper learning. It is a great platform for teachers and students to learn together. You can connect with other Flip Grid educators around the world through the feature called ‘Grid Pals.’ Flip gird is free and is associated with Microsoft and is available to use on all platforms (i.e. Android, IOS)

SEESAW

Summary:Seesaw is a platform encouraging student engagement through student driven portfolios. Teacher’s pose questions, assignments, etc. and students get to choose how “to show what they know.”
Analysis:Teachers gain real-time insight into student progress, can provide feedback and adapt their learning to meet individual needs. Seesaw is a great tool for providing students with ownership and choice. They are building portfolios cross-curricular to share with teachers, peers and their parents. 
Current:Seesaw supports differentiated learning and fosters creative thinking. It addresses the various needs of learners through the range of innovative tools such as: draw & record, collages, videos, mind maps and many more. Students can upload files from their google drives and it is compatible on any device. Parents have access to their child’s work on Seesaw and therefore gain insight to their student’s learning progress and can also offer support.

GeoGebra
Check it out!
Summary: GeoGebra is an interactive math and science program. Students can use this tool to learn about topics and solve problems. GeoGebra has many resources for both teachers and students to discover and already has over 1 million free activities, simulations, exercises, lessons and games for math and science.

Analysis:GeoGebra is a great tool for learning concepts and applying critical thinking skills. It is a great tool for hands on and visual learners as students are interacting with technology to make sense of the math. Activities can be extended or modified depending on the needs of the learner. 
Current:GeoGebra is compatable with Google Classroom so teachers can use both platforms to enhance student learning. GeoGebra is used in over 190 countries and supports over 400 STEM education and learning programs globally.
